WPC's Revised Covid-19 Guidelines for Sunday Worship & Weekly Activities

Even with COVID-19, Westminster Presbyterian Church has made the decision to continue to have our in-person weekly activities and in-person worship; however, as WPC is committed to protecting staff & worshippers, the Session has set out the following revised guidelines, which reflect a more personal responsibility to protect one’s self and others.

The revisions are as follows:

  • Wearing of face masks is optional

  • Self-distance in the Sanctuary and Narthex at your personal comfort level

  • Bibles and hymnals are available for use in pew racks

  • Bulletins will be passed out by a Greeter aided by the use of hand sanitizer

  • Passing of the Peace will be contactless

  • Communion will be served with individuals coming forward to obtain and take the communion elements

  • Hand sanitizer and masks are available in the Narthex

The Session will continue to monitor COVID risks and modify these guidelines as required in the future.

However, if you do not feel comfortable attending or are unable to attend our Sunday worship, in person, we regularly post our Sunday service on our Youtube Channel. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFznAMoYP2bDF2isk7ZS25g/)

Lastly, we still encourage you to reach out to other church members and neighbors through social media, phone calls, video chat, and cards in addition to seeing each other in church.

We will continue to pray for everyone’s health and safety during this time.

Thank you.
